Check the 2026 application periods, test dates, result dates, and semester schedule for the Korea Immigration and Integration Program (KIIP).
Updated August 24, 2026: The third KIIP semester began on August 17. Several PBT evaluations are still scheduled for September through December. Always check the official websites before applying because dates may be changed or additional evaluations may be announced.
2026 Schedule at a Glance
The Ministry of Justice announced a total of 20 paper-based evaluations (PBT) for 2026: eight placement tests, four midterm evaluations, and eight comprehensive evaluations.

Important: KIIP normally operates on a three-semester system, but individual institutions may use different education periods depending on their budget and local demand. Check the class schedule of your local KIIP institution on Socinet.

What About CBT Evaluations?
In addition to the scheduled PBT evaluations above, KIIP also operates computer-based testing (CBT). Placement and comprehensive CBT evaluations have been operated on a continuing basis since 2022, and midterm CBT evaluations have also been available since July 2025.
CBT participants can choose an available date and time at a permanent CBT center. According to the official 2026 notice, centers are operating in Gwangmyeong, Daejeon, and Seoul. Availability, application periods, locations, and fees should be checked directly on the KIIP Evaluation website.

Before You Apply
Evaluation schedules may be changed or supplemented depending on demand and other circumstances. Recheck the official notice immediately before registration, and do not rely only on a saved screenshot or an older community post.
